Fundraiser Dinner HUGE Hit

Rep. Alan Grayson had the crowd of 250 on their feet and cheering at the packed annual 2009 Claude Pepper Dinner hosted by The Lake County Democratic Executive Committee on April. 18 in Leesburg. This year’s theme was celebrating the first 100 days of President Obama’s administration.

Democratic Party Leader Fred McDowell Earns 2009 Claude Pepper Award

250 Democrats stood and cheered as Lake Democratic Party Chair, Nancy Hurlbert and Congressman Alan Grayson presented the award to Fred McDowell (center), along with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, honoring the veteran Defense Department manager for his long service to our nation and our community.

Lake Democrats Assist Food Bank

Dubbed "Change for Change," the program yielded $133.08 during February.
